Mudryk back for Chelsea's pre-season Cut short his holiday to return to London Looks to impress new manager Maresca WHAT HAPPENED?
According to Daily Mail reporter Kieran Gill, Mudryk reported back to Chelsea on the very first day of their pre-season on Monday cutting short his post-Euro 2024 holiday. Mudryk's journey in the European Championship ended last month after Ukraine finished fourth in their group and crashed out of the competition.

The 23-year-old had an underwhelming first full season at Stamford Bridge as he managed to score just seven goals in 41 appearances across all competitions and provided two assists in the 2023/24 campaign. However, the former Shakhtar Donetsk star is eager to improve his game ahead of the upcoming season and will look to impress new manager Enzo Maresca.

Mudryk was joined by long-time absentees Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia. While Fofana has remained sidelined since May 2023, Lavia has not appeared for the Blues since December.
