Shakhtar CEO Sergiy Palkin claimed that having seen the Ukrainian youngster from close quarters, he knows exactly how to get the best out of the winger, who he still believes to be a "unique talent". He also advised Blues boss Pochettino to spend more one-on-one time with Mudryk, which will help him to perform better.

Speaking to , Palkin said: "I can tell you that, for me, Mudryk is the most talented and unique player in the world. I believe that in order to get the maximum from Mudryk, as they anticipate, you need to invest in him. And these investments are not money. The investment is time with the coaching staff to communicate with him and to work closely with him.
"He is a young boy and he changed from the Ukrainian Championship for the English Premier League. It’s a completely different world, with completely different levels, with football that’s completely different. I believe that if the coaching staff dedicates some time to him, he will return three, four or five times more."

Since moving to England from Ukraine in January 2023 for a huge £89m ($109m) transfer fee, the 23-year-old has failed to live up to the standards that he had set while playing for Shakhtar, where he scored 12 goals and provided 17 assists in 44 appearances.
In his first six months with the west London club, Mudryk failed to score even a single goal, and in the 2023-24 season, he has netted only three times in 19 Premier League matches.
WHAT NEXT FOR MYKHAILO MUDRYK?
The Ukraine international was linked with a move to Bayern Munich during the January transfer window, although Chelsea blocked the move at that time. Recent reports suggest that Arsenal – who lost the transfer battle to sign him to Chelsea last year – have once again rekindled their interest in the player.
