Celtic are still interested in a move for Burnley’s Robbie Brady, according to The Mirror.
The Lowdown: Hoops’ previous interest
The Hoops were linked with a summer move for Brady back in February, just days before Neil Lennon resigned as manager.
Reports then suggested Lennon could move for the Republic of Ireland international on a pre-contract agreement.
Brady, who can play as a left-back, left-midfielder or right-midfielder, will now be available for nothing in a matter of weeks, and it seems that Celtic are still keen.

The Latest: Brady a man in demand
According to The Mirror’s live transfer blog (27/05, 15:27pm), Celtic, along with Crystal Palace, Southampton and Watford are all interested in the 29-year-old.
Brady made 21 appearances under Sean Dyche during the 2020/21 campaign, with his last coming back in March.
Burnley have decided to release the versatile international at the end of his deal, with Brady’s Turf Moor contract worth £35,000-a-week.
The Verdict: Could Celtic’s stance now change following Howe twist?
A move for Brady was likely spearheaded by Eddie Howe, who looked set to become the new Celtic manager.
The 43-year-old actually wanted to bring Brady to Bournemouth back in 2017, but Burnley won the race in a £13m deal.
However, Celtic’s talks with Howe to take over from Lennon have now reportedly collapsed in a huge off-field twist, so we feel that may impact the club’s reported interest in Brady.
Howe seemingly liked Brady as a player four years ago, so he may have been the one urging the Hoops to make a free transfer swoop this summer if he was appointed, but it doesn’t look as if he’ll be the man in charge next season.
