Chelsea travel to Manchester City this weekend knowing they’ll have to pull off a huge performance to avoid another blow to their hopes of finishing inside the Premier League’s top four.
It will require resolute defending and crucial sharpness at the other end, which is perhaps where Antonio Conte’s biggest conundrum lies ahead of Sunday’s 4pm kick-off.
The Italian now has two strike options at his disposal in the form of Alvaro Morata, who started last time out against Manchester United and was wrongly crossed off the scoresheet, and January signing Olivier Giroud, who has enjoyed a strong start to his Blues career.
Morata, who Transfermarkt value at £58.5m, offers more mobility which could be hugely important on the break against City, but the 6 foot 4 Frenchman has shown his prised asset is the frequency in which he can bring the likes of Eden Hazard and Willian into the game around the penalty box.
So, Chelsea fans, which player would you start at centre-forward against City? Let us know by voting below…
